2009-04-26 23:45:10 Crack Baby gets some press!
I was looking at my Google Analytics account and noticed that I had a referral from a website called Irked Magazine. I went to the link and, lo and behold, there was an article about Crack Baby and a little teaser for my new album! Very cool.

Irked Magazine, out of Nova Scotia, "aims to provide a non-judgemental space in which people can explore matters of the heart." Thanks, guys!

2009-04-08 02:17:16 Myspace!
I've started the process of updating my MySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/kenflagg

Check it out! Send your friends there. New, cooler photos coming soon.

2009-03-20 03:52:35 The album is complete.
The album, as of yet untitled, has been mastered by the fine people at Golden Mastering and is now awaiting release. Huzzah.

2008-09-15 13:26:32 The Great Gig in the Sky: RIP Richard Wright
It is a week for passings, apparently. Pink Floyd keyboardist Richard Wright passed away from cancer on Monday. Everything is ephemeral.

2008-09-15 00:53:54 Ignorance is Bliss: RIP David Foster Wallace
It is with great sadness that I (and many others) report the apparent suicide of Infinite Jest author David Foster Wallace on Friday, 12 September 2008. I can't claim to know him and will not speculate on why he took his life. I only know through his work that he was brilliant and capable of finding the exquisite in the mundane, and through a brief encounter at a speaking engagement that he was a warm, thoughtful human being who genuinely loved his craft. His writing reinvigorated my love for reading and broadened my appreciation for the dexterity and breadth of expression capable in the English language.

The bereft include not only his widow, friends, colleagues and students, but the sea of people who have been waiting, patiently, for more flakes of his beautiful mind to coalesce and form something we could purchase and only partially comprehend. The world misses you, DFW. I, for one, will forever regret not asking you if Lyle was a wraith.
